Our Mission
Our mission is to bridge the gap for those who cannot physically travel by offering deeply immersive and educational virtual journeys. We believe that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, deserves a chance to explore the world, learn from its history, and connect with its cultures and peoples.
Why we need the support?
The initial investment will underwrite the acquisition of equipment, services and support to:
Provide for administrative, accounting, and human resources support
Hire the subject specialists required to develop the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering courses to accompany the first Digital Sojourn, including field work in Japan.
Hire educators and Moodle programmers to develop viable self-guided, self-directed, auto-grading courses suitable for use with Digital Sojourns, including a high level of accessibility features as well as instructional materials and videos.
Prepare initial marketing and advertising of Digital Sojourns including travel to important trade shows and exhibitions.
Ensure a vibrant social media presence and customer feedback
Pay for user testing of the coursework
Hire programmers to ensure the effective integration of coursework into the Digital Sojourn
Ensure the administration of college course credit
